Remembering Hillsborough with the Dutch

Sunday's Dutch league match between Groningen and Ajax was postponed after fans thought it would be a tremendous idea to set fire to toilet rolls and throw them towards the pitch. What the fans didn't realise was that hot firey paper near plastic seats leads to hot melty plastic and nasty noxious black smoke, which will make you sick. The look on the players' faces is classic.



Don't worry, no one was badly hurt, although it looks like some people probably deserved to be. Irresponsible fans endangering other people is not particularly clever, especially as today is the 19th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, when 96 Liverpool fans lost their lives.
